• At your initial consultation with Dr. Jones, you will be asked pertinent questions about your medical history and further information about your current problems.
  • After examination using neuro-orthopedic and chiropractic tests, your diagnosis will be discussed with you in full and Dr. Jones will be able to give you guidelines on your treatment with us and how we can help provide pain relief and prevent problems from re-occuring by correcting the underlying cause. In a large majority of cases, patients can go ahead with treatment on their first visit. If you require X-rays or MRI scans, treatment will be delayed until we have viewed them.
  • If your case requires further medical attention, Dr. Jones will refer you to the appropriate authority. We will only take you on as a patient if we genuinely expect that you will respond to chiropractic treatment.

  • Your treatment consists of chiropractic adjustments, lifestyle advice, postural information and exercises.

  • Chiropractic adjustments are small, precise movements of the joints delivered with a small thrust into the region and are perfectly safe. When you recieve an adjustment, you may hear a 'clicking' sound. This is normal and merely represents expelling of gas from the restricted joints.

  • Your treatment session may last between ten and twenty minutes each time.
